it's difficult to decide where to start, so i'll just explain from the beginning. i was formerly a 3 handicap player, having started playing the game from the age of 7. (i'm now 28) -- i love the game, and actually have aspirations to play professionally one day.
but, duty called and i have been deployed to iraq twice in the past 3 years. I haven't really played much golf as you can imagine.
well, i arrived home a few weeks ago and have been practicing every day. I bought new clubs and everything. I just could not hit the ball. i went through everything that i knew about golf before, and just could not hit the ball my 8 iron was flying 120 i just didn't get it.
contact sucked, direction sucked, everything sucked it was so depressing. how was it possible that i couldn't even find the ball with the club?
